The story of John McLeod's 1985 GMC High Sierra started out innocent enough. Classic Instruments was in the development stages of ensuring a perfect fit for its new 1973-87 square body direct fit package and bought a 1985 GMC Sierra for R&D purposes and then fell into the same trap we all do. "Since we are here" are four words that when used to describe the process of restoring a classic truck from the ground up can lead to spending many extra hours and much effort to ensure not one detail has been overlooked.
